Midsummer Night’s Dream follows four Athenian lovers who run away to a forest, in aim to follow love and escape their imposing families. Once in the forest they meet Puck, a fairy who uses magic to make two of Athenians fall in love with the same person and chaos ensues.
In this shortened present day rendition Athens became a high brow cocktail party, the forest became a music festival and the players met in a Wetherspoons. I had 3 weeks and a small budget to design and realise this production.
